EIA data show US biofuel producers consumed 30.337 billion lbs of feedstock in March, up 11.8% from February. Soybean oil use at biofuel plants hit a record 1.283 billion lbs, and corn oil demand at biodiesel plants also reached a record.
Yellow grease demand also rose.
Record feedstock consumption confirms strong biofuel pull on soybean oil and corn oil, supporting prices for those oils and related feedstocks.
