The August WASDE showed 2026/27 US corn production near 16 billion bushels and ending stocks cut 137 million to 1.7 billion, with exports raised to 3.3 billion bushels. Wheat production and stocks were lowered, and the soybean crop rose to 4.5 billion bushels.
The season-average corn price forecast was raised to $4.50 per bushel.
Higher corn exports and lower stocks support prices, and reduced wheat supplies add to upward pressure. The larger soybean crop limits gains for soybeans.
