The UN reports that more than 21 million tonnes of foodstuffs have been exported from Ukrainian ports under the Black Sea Grain Initiative. Corn makes up 47% of the volume and wheat 29%, with China, Spain and Turkey as the main recipients.
Ukraine's president has proposed adding Mykolaiv and Olvia ports.
Continued flows of corn and wheat keep global supply moving, which limits upward price pressure. Expansion to more ports would add export capacity over time.
