Argentine farmers are expected to plant more soybeans in the 2024/25 season and reduce corn area. The shift follows a severe insect plague that hit the last corn harvest, and rain forecasts are improving for soy.
Less corn area tightens Argentine corn supply, while more soybean planting adds future soy supply and pressures soy prices.
