Malaysian palm oil futures fell 0.97% in early trade on Thursday to 4,473 ringgit per ton, snapping a four-session rally. Rival soyoil and crude oil also dropped after Trump announced reciprocal tariffs on trading partners.
Broad US tariffs raise global trade-war risk and weigh on crude, which lowers biodiesel demand support for palm and soyoil prices.
