ICE low-sulfur gasoil prices fell back below $700 per metric ton for the first time in a month as traders assessed a US peace proposal for Ukraine. Sanctions on Russian energy took effect November 21, including measures against Rosneft and Lukoil.
A peace deal could lead to lifting sanctions on Russian energy, which would increase supply and weigh on diesel and crude prices. Doubts about enforcement have limited the downside for now.
