Palm oil futures on Bursa Malaysia hit an all-time high above MR 6,000 per tonne, driven by rising energy prices, supply concerns and a rally in CBOT soyoil. Soyoil futures rose about 3% on February 22 on energy strength and Argentine crop concerns.
Higher crude prices and tight supplies lift palm and soyoil prices, though buyers in China and India are pulling back as margins erode.
