CBOT wheat fell 3.2 percent and soybeans hit their lowest in more than nine months on June 13 as fund long liquidation drove the sell-off. Soybean weakness was tied to China trade tensions, after the administration planned tariffs on up to $50 billion of Chinese goods.
A media report of possible Chinese retaliation on U.S. soybeans also weighed on prices.
