The yen fell back from a sharp swing after Donald Trump's election win, with the dollar reaching a five-month high above 108.50 yen on Monday. Analysts said the yen could slide toward a February low of 115 on expectations of faster US rate increases.
Expected US rate hikes and a weaker yen support a stronger dollar, which lowers the dollar value of US feed commodity exports and can pressure US prices.
