The dollar fell more than 1% against the yen on January 30 after weekend negative headlines over Trump's executive order temporarily banning refugees and citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries. Euro also hit its lowest since January 19 against the dollar.
Analysts linked the selling to fears over trade risks and protectionism.
