The US Grains Council criticized China's MOFCOM decision to impose anti-dumping and countervailing duties on US DDGS, after China raised tariffs on US ethanol from 5% to 30%. The group also noted that China has not approved new biotech corn events since 2014.
A series of Chinese restrictions on DDGS, ethanol and corn cuts off a key export market for US feed ingredients, which pressures DDGS and corn prices and widens the discount to competing supplies.
