Ukraine had exported 29.91 million tons of grain as of March 7 in the 2016/17 marketing year, including 13.69 million tons of wheat, 4.67 million of barley and 11.37 million of corn. The ministry forecasts full-year grain exports could reach about 40 million tons.
A forecast of roughly 40 million tons would be slightly above the prior year's 39.5 million, indicating continued export availability that caps upside in wheat and corn prices.
