USDA's weekly crop summary for April 16 to 22 reported that mild, dry weather improved harvesting conditions in central Argentina. Late-season rain kept conditions favorable for second-crop corn, and Brazil's first-crop harvest was nearly complete.
Brazilian soybean and corn yields were reported as high.
Dry weather speeds Argentine harvest and reduces quality and delivery risk, so it adds little to price pressure. Strong Brazilian yields keep global feed supply comfortable.
