Oilseed prices rose on reduced US soybean production expectations and strong Chinese import demand. The FAO reported world vegetable oil prices in August were 5.9% higher than in July, led by palm oil, and US biodiesel demand supported soybean oil.
Tighter soybean and vegetable oil supply, along with biodiesel demand, supports higher soybean meal and oil prices, raising feed ingredient costs.
