USDA's July WASDE raised estimated 2024/25 US corn production to 15.100 billion bushels and cut soybean production slightly to 4.435 billion. The report lowered 2024/25 corn ending stocks and reduced old-crop soybean stocks more than the trade had expected.
Tighter-than-expected US corn and soybean carryouts support prices and lift the cost of feed grains and meal for buyers.
