ECDC published a factsheet on avian influenza A(H7N9), noting the virus was first reported in China in 2013 and mutated into a highly pathogenic form in late 2016. The factsheet says vaccination in China has sharply reduced outbreaks and human cases, and that about one third of human patients die.
The factsheet describes a human health threat and a declining trend in China, with no meaningful effect on feed or meat prices.
