Ships carrying more than 700,000 tonnes of soybeans are waiting at anchor off Chinese ports due to heavy customs checks and limited port warehouse capacity. China delivered 9.59 million tonnes in May and 9 million in June, with port stocks at 7 million tonnes.
Port congestion delays soybean deliveries and has lifted soymeal prices, a logistics bottleneck that supports meal values while it lasts.
