European biodiesel prices are being supported by the euro, which is at its strongest against the dollar in 32 months, despite falling vegetable oil prices. Anti-dumping duties on Argentine and Indonesian biodiesel may be lifted on September 7, which could boost imports.
A strong euro offsets weaker vegetable oil costs, but a possible duty removal could raise import flows and pressure biodiesel and vegetable oil prices lower.
