USDA will release its quarterly Grain Stocks and Small Grains Summary reports on Friday at 11 a.m. CDT.
Analysts expect Sept. 1 corn stocks to be the largest on record in 30 years, and noncommercial traders have been adding to net-short positions.
Large expected corn and soybean ending stocks point to ample supplies heading into the new crop year, which is weighing on feed grain and soymeal prices ahead of the report.
