Chicago soybeans and corn rose on Thursday, led by soybeans, while Paris grain prices also gained. China's August industrial output grew 6%, below the 6.6% forecast, and analysts said the slowdown reflects financial deleveraging.
USDA raised its US corn and soybean yield estimates, but markets did not react strongly.
Weaker Chinese industrial growth can reduce commodity demand, while USDA's higher yields point to ample US supply. The net price effect in the session was limited.
