The U.S. Grains Council is promoting unit train shipments of U.S. corn and DDGS to feedlots around Lethbridge, Alberta, after an October trade mission. The first unit train of 2017-18 corn was delivered to Lethbridge the week before the mission.
Expanded Canadian feedlot demand for U.S. corn and DDGS, supported by close proximity to northern ethanol plants, could tighten US feed grain balances modestly.
