Philippine palay farm-gate prices rose 10 percent at the start of June and have climbed for six straight months, with well-milled rice wholesale up seven percent year on year. The National Food Authority expects prices to stabilize as the first 16,000 metric tons of a 250,000 MT government-to-government purchase from Vietnam arrived.
