Grain truck owners in Argentina are protesting for higher freight rates, slowing grain transport. CIARA-CEC said exporters and crushers could run out of soy, corn and wheat within a day or two if shipments halt, with 56% fewer trucks arriving at Rosario on Monday than a week earlier.
Rosario handles about 80% of Argentine agri exports, so a prolonged halt would tighten near-term export supply and crush output, supporting soybean meal and oil and corn prices.
