Russia's Transneft plans to raise exports of ultra-low sulfur diesel by 3 million tonnes to 26 million tonnes this year. Russia is also pushing to win more of the European market, with exports above 650,000 barrels per day.
Additional Russian diesel supply competing in Europe could ease European diesel prices and reduce the cost pressure on fuel-linked logistics.
