UK National Balancing Point spot gas rose to its highest level since March. The increase followed tight supply caused by unplanned outages at Norwegian fields and processing plants.
Norwegian supply outages tighten European gas, raising energy costs and supporting European LNG demand. Higher European gas prices can also lift nitrogen fertilizer costs.
