The EIA reported the US national average diesel price rose 3 cents to $3.271 per gallon, its fifth straight weekly gain. The price is up 48.3 cents year on year.
WTI traded at $70.04, above the prior week's average of $68.71.
Continued weekly increases in diesel and crude raise the cost of hauling feed ingredients and farm fuel.
