A CoBank report says African swine fever in China has affected 10 provinces and that China's hog prices have risen 25% since July. The report estimates over 70% of Chinese hog production is under quarantine or movement restrictions, and it expects the trade dispute to limit China's import options.
Large-scale Chinese herd losses and import constraints are expected to lift global pork prices and support hog and protein values.
