The Egyptian tender has significantly supported the price of wheat

Egypt's GASC tender bought Romanian, Russian and US wheat, with Russian wheat at about $250/t C&F and US SRW at about $254/t C&F. Romanian wheat was bought at roughly $254/t C&F, and Paris milling wheat rose 1.5 euros per tonne after the result.

Traders also noted French wheat's return to China and upcoming tenders in Tunisia and Morocco.

重要性

Competitive purchases from the US and EU, which gain share against Russia's dominant exports, support wheat prices and signal stronger import demand. Upcoming tenders in North Africa could extend that support.
