IBGE's first estimate for Brazil's 2019 harvest of cereals, legumes and oilseeds is 226.7 million metric tons, 0.2% below 2018. Output is expected to fall in the North, Northeast, Southeast and Central West, offset by a 4.1% gain in the South.
A slight projected decline in Brazilian grain output is marginally supportive for feed grain and meal prices, though the change is small relative to the overall supply picture.
