APK-Inform forecasts Ukraine's MY2018/19 sunflower oil output at 6.4 million tons, up 12%, with exports of 5.9 million tons. Sunflower meal output is projected at 5.7 million tons (+9%) and exports at 4.7 million tons (+12%).
A larger Ukrainian crop and export surplus of sunflower oil and meal adds supply to world vegetable oil and meal markets, which the analyst expects to pressure prices lower.
