U.S. ethanol exports reached 175.4 million gallons in October, nearly double September and the third-highest monthly total on record. Brazil became the top U.S. customer, and DDGS demand remained strong.
Strong ethanol export demand supports ethanol plant operating rates, which in turn sustain DDGS and corn demand. The effect on prices is modest because the flows are a single month's data.
