Ukraine: last season, the Mykolaiv seaport covered more than 30% of the general grain exports -

The Ukrainian Grain Association said the Mykolaiv seaport was the top grain exporter in 2017/18, shipping about 12.5 million tonnes, nearly a third of national volumes. Roughly 95% of Ukraine's grain exports leave via Black Sea ports and about 5% via Azov ports.

重要性

The small Azov share means Kerch Strait disruptions have limited effect on total Ukrainian export supply. Buyers should focus on Black Sea port capacity, which carries most flows.
