Ohio State climate specialist Aaron Wilson says Ohio is on track for its third-wettest year on record in 2018. Heavy September and November rains delayed corn and soybean harvests, which in some parts of the state continued into December.
Harvest delays and wet-weather drying costs can slow grain movement and raise handling costs, modestly supporting local cash basis for corn and soybeans.
