DTN Ag Meteorologist Bryce Anderson reports that 2018 was a stormy year with bookend rains disrupting planting and harvest, and the late harvest was the most difficult since 2009. Producers described yields as good but not great, with the crop not appreciably smaller than expected.
Yields described as good rather than short suggest adequate US feed grain supplies, which limits upside price pressure on corn and soybeans.
