CoBank analyst Terry Barr said US soybean ending stocks near 900 million bushels will overhang the market for several years. Record 2017 acreage, high yields and the trade dispute with China have left farmers in a difficult position.
Heavy US inventories cap soybean prices for the coming years unless China returns in volume or acreage shifts, keeping feed meal supplies ample.
