Soybean Production Up in 2018, USDA Reports Winter Wheat Seedings and Grain Stocks also reported

USDA's NASS Crop Production 2018 Summary reported a record 4.54 billion bushels of soybeans, up 3% from 2017, with yield up 5%. The 2018 corn crop was 14.4 billion bushels, down 1% from the record 2017 harvest, and cotton output fell 12%.

A record soybean crop and a slightly smaller corn crop add to large US supplies, which weighs on feed and meal prices unless export demand absorbs the surplus.
