Chinese pork producers' shares and factory prices are rising as swine disease cuts supply. Live pig prices are about 12 yuan per kilogram and analysts expect them to climb toward 20 yuan in the second half as supplies fall 20% to 30%.
Sharply lower Chinese hog supply supports higher hog prices and points to continued strong pork import demand.
