EUR/USD climbed above the 1.12 level after eurozone GDP and German inflation data surprised to the upside. Eurozone growth came in at 0.4% for the first quarter, ahead of consensus of 0.3%.
German consumer prices also rose faster than expected.
Stronger euro-zone data reduces the chance of further dollar strength, which can lend modest support to dollar-priced agricultural commodities.
