FAPRI's 2019-2028 Baseline Outlook projects the U.S. average wheat price at $5.19/bu for 2019/20 through 2028/29, with a range of $5.03 to $5.31. An Oklahoma State commentary notes that Oklahoma wheat has averaged 22 cents below the U.S. price over the last decade.
Long-run projections of subdued wheat prices reflect expected ample supply and do not give a near-term price signal for feed buyers.
