USDA's final estimates show Iowa's 2018 corn averaged 196 bushels per acre and soybeans averaged 57 bushels per acre. Yields were strong in much of the state despite persistently wet conditions in north-central Iowa.
These are final figures for last year's crop, so they add little new supply information for current prices. They confirm solid 2018 carry-in supplies for feed grain buyers.
