USDA projected 2019-20 U.S. wheat carryover at 1,141 million bushels, up from 1,127 million for 2018-19, and corn carryover at 2,485 million bushels, up 390 million from 2,095 million. Both forecasts came in above average trade expectations, with corn near the high end of the range.
The 2018-19 wheat carryover was raised 40 million bushels from April.
Higher carryover in both wheat and corn means more supply available for feed use, which weighs on feed grain and wheat prices.
