Exchange Rates UK reports that the US Fed Funds Rate remains above other developed economies despite two cuts. Stronger-than-expected US manufacturing PMI data contrasted with weak eurozone surveys.
EURUSD slipped back under 1.10 while the dollar stayed firm.
A firmer dollar makes US feed ingredients more expensive for importers and can pressure dollar-denominated grain and meal prices. The weak euro also reduces European purchasing power for US products.
