CBOT soybean futures reached their highest level since 2016 and corn hit a 14.5-month high. Strong export sales were led by China, which bought 1.222 million tonnes of soybeans in the week.
Weekly corn export sales totaled 1.832 million tonnes, with China accounting for 433,500 tonnes.
Chinese buying of U.S. soybeans and corn tightens export supplies and supports prices for soybean meal and feed grains. Feed buyers should expect firm input costs.
