Euronext wheat rose for a second session on Thursday, moving away from a six-month low, while Chicago wheat recovered from a two-day drop after larger-than-expected US export sales. Algeria bought about 450,000 metric tons and Tunisia about 100,000 metric tons, absorbing Black Sea surplus.
The euro's rally against the dollar weighed on Euronext prices.
Import tenders from Algeria and Tunisia and reduced Black Sea competition support EU wheat export prices. A stronger euro lowers the dollar value of EU wheat and limits gains.
