Durbin Statement On USDA Second Round Of Trade Aid Payments

Senator Dick Durbin issued a statement on USDA's second tranche of 2019 trade aid, saying Illinois soybean farmers were badly hurt by the US-China trade war. He noted that the top per-acre payments went to southern states with cotton crops, with Illinois averaging about $69 per acre.
