China's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs reported hog stocks rose 2% in November from October, the first monthly increase since November last year. Breeding sows rose 4% and feed production increased about 6.9% month on month.
Early herd rebuilding and higher feed output point to rising feed demand in China, though pork prices have fallen about 12.6% from recent highs.
