UK May-20 feed wheat futures closed at £150.55/t on February 25, down £2.20/t from the prior Friday. Declines followed coronavirus-driven market falls, large Russian and Ukrainian crop estimates, and a drop in Brent crude.
Concerns about reduced consumer spending and logistics disruption from the virus, plus larger Black Sea supply, are pushing European wheat and rapeseed lower and cutting feed input costs.
