Standard Chartered said that if the Fed cut rates to negative territory, likely by 50-100 basis points, gold could test beyond its 2011 high of $1,920/oz. The London PM gold fix was $1,728.70/oz on May 29, 2020.
Negative US rates would weaken the dollar and lower the opportunity cost of holding gold, but this is a scenario rather than an actual policy move and has little direct effect on feed prices.
