The won has traded in a 1,190 to 1,210 per dollar range over the past two months, down 3% year to date, despite broad dollar weakness. The dollar index fell 4.1% in July, its biggest monthly drop since 2010, as investors bought risk assets on hopes for COVID-19 vaccines.
