Indonesia's government says it will adjust crude palm oil export levy rates effective November 1, 2020, to support the B30 biodiesel mandate. The minister has not yet disclosed the new rates, which await a finance ministry regulation.
A higher export levy would reduce Indonesian export competitiveness and push more supply into the domestic biodiesel market, supporting palm oil prices while tightening export availability for feed-related palm byproducts.
